In Legends of Runeterra, you choose from 24 champion cards to include in your deck, each with a unique mechanic inspired by their original League of Legends abilities.
Champions enter the battle as powerful cards, and if you play smart, they level up to become even more epic.
Gain new abilities to crush your enemies. Turn the tide of battle with a swift combo. Even break the rules and claim a new way to win.
Champions are key cards to build your deck around, but to take down the enemy Nexus, you’re going to need a team. Pick allies that support your champ’s strategy to level up fast and take control of the board.
You have tons of supporting cards to choose from. You’ll encounter some familiar faces and discover completely new ones.
Every character and card in the game comes from a region of Runeterra. At launch, you have access to cards from six major regions: Demacia, Noxus, Freljord, Piltover & Zaun, Ionia, and the Shadow Isles.
Each region has a distinct playstyle and strategic advantage, but things get even more interesting when you combine cards from two different regions. There’s a deck for every personality and playstyle—but it’s up to you to find the right cards for your winning strategy.
The paths to victory are many. Get creative, because how you build your deck is completely up to you—and so is how you get your cards.
Legends of Runeterra is free to play. Victory or defeat, each battle brings experience and progress. Choose which region you explore first and unlock the cards that call to you, changing regions as often as you like. As you advance, you’ll collect new allies, spells, and champions—more than enough for multiple decks.
Once a week, you’ll also unlock chests from the Vault. These chests level up the more you play, increasing the rarity of cards inside from common all the way up to champion. They can also contain wildcards, which can be turned into any card you want—no guessing required. Experiment with an abundance of new cards to discover your playstyle and craft your strategy. As your collection grows, so do the possibilities.
Embark on Expeditions and draft a deck as you go, overcoming as many opponents as you can with an evolving set of cards.
Or truly test your skill by taking your strategy into Ranked, and see where you stand among the best players in Runeterra.
Where you go from here is up to you. From the champions to the combat, the regions to the reactions, every choice you make is a chance to be legendary.

Been addicted for only a couple weeks. But addictive enough to warrant a galaxy tab 6 purchase... Corona hazard pay... 😆 You can pay for fun add-ons like card backs, emotes, boards, avatars ect. Or to get cards faster. I've contributed a lil. Fun and not pay to win balance. Keep it up!
My phone (s7) crashes if I click too many option too fast. Also when I turn off my phone with the game on the foreground the game still runs, I'm not sure if that is intentional or not

This is the best card game I've played ever !!
Amazingly Fun
4* because some cards are soo broken, especially Fiora's champion card. It is not a good idean for a card to give someone an instant win with just 5 hits, and with such a low cost card which is too broken and unbalanced.
Devs are generous in giving out cards and there is little to no RNG mechanics in matches. Wildcard system is a great idea

It's a ton of fun. Try it if you like MTG or Hearthstone.
Overall good experience, I hope this game does not have balance issues in the future unlike some other collectible card games out there. Very enjoyable and intuitive gameplay.
Best digital card game by leaps and bounds. Super friendly to F2P players. Uninstalled Hearthstone for this. And I've spent 2k on Hearthstone.
Best CCG I have ever played and the cheapest. It really has great pacing and it is plain old fun. I remember when Shadowverse was seen as being giving free stuff. Well this game has no packs. You want a card you just buy the card for cheap. You get a free wild champion card every week and after you do an expedition you also receive a champion card. Patches has been frequent and they have nerfed champions. No more seeing the same OP cards for months.
Graphic are cool and the playstyle I would say needs work....wanna win for sure then pay and buy some decks. Otherwise you'll lose constantly...and not to mention the laggs and crashes CONSTANTLY while in the middle of a match. Constantly lagging or crashing absolutely FRUSTRATING 😠😠

A good game with too much burn/aggro. Especially with some of the new cards (1st expansion), there are too many aggro cards such that control decks can't exist in the meta. If they just remove/nerf some of those aggro cards, this would be my favorite card game.
The only bad thing I have to say about the game is selecting cards to play during a match. There should be a option to click And select instead of sweeping up only.

Not into card games but this game is really fun if you take time to learn how to play. HIGHLY recommend. Just put in some effort in learning and reading which cards do what and it will pay off

Started playing just a day ago. I'm enjoying the game so far. I'm hopeful that this does not feel like a pay to win game.
LoR or Legends of Runettera is kind of game that keep you curios why? this is the game if you're giing to lose in 6 to 7x you can't stop because you're curios what happen next Your Winning or Not ahaha btw. i didn't spent a money but maybe someday im just a poor people but RIOT GAMES is my #1 Fav. i can't for LoL Mobile

If you play this game make sure you have luck in your life, if you dont, just dont play because: Strategicl+bad luck =lose Good luck + bad strategic=win Bad strategic + bad luck = u didnt have chance just forget it But the good side is, no pay to win its pure on your luck
Best card game out atm, no p2w bs. Tutorial missions are great and rewarding. Ranking system is great and card aren't an absolute slog to get. 5/5 keep it up Riot.

Hands down this is definitely my most favorite played card based concept game,the variety of diversity in the game together with the animations and sound effect clearly gives this game a top notch standard,totally deserves 5 star and more.

Truly a free to play model. Highly recommended for all the card game enthusiasts and beginners alike as the game is easy to pick up but hard to master.
I just gave 4 star because i taught there is a custom that you can play with ur friends, but i love the game🌟 Hope for the nxt update it has a custom play.🙏

It was all fun with all those animations and transform but soon or later i realized. After one to two days you will get bored nothing special more than keep collecting exp and wait for the bundle aka (vault) but for the 1st week it's fine because you have log in rewards. Then, it will go back to collect exp and you gonna meet all those unbalance card created in this game and get frustrated that you cant even enjoy the game! (Unless you're rich to buy those card) it's a Pay to Win game folks!

Thisngame isn't perfect yet. This game requires fast data connection. What about those who have slow phased connections and in any other online games. I monitored the bits of data i spend while playing. But in this game i see the data reaches 1mb/s consistently while playing. I think this eats a lot of data. And sometimes i got stocked on checking for updates. I understand that this is a new posted game. But will you atleast fix this issues.

Sometimes it just doesn't open and says check ur connection even though i have a 4g connection which runs super smooth but for some reason this game doesn't seem to open

Worst game Devoloper & twchnical team unable to control proper, without peoples concern game auto download in android suestem. Whoever devoloper take care of this, please work on it.
Fun game if you play against the ai but go against other players when you just started and prepare for frustration as you lose time and again against tougher opponents the game sets you up with,me I just stopped trying altogether it was wasting my time maybe after a few hundred ai games I'll win one or two vs a player:(

I am very satisfied with what Riot has done for this one. The game feels fresh (I have tried every single popular card game) and can soon be even better than its competitors. Beautiful art as well. All in all, they seem to take into account all the successes and failures of the other games of the genre and improve based on them. Highly recommend it!
in the future if only they can add a board that does not need money i would love it, if they add a feature like that, or you can earn coins? by winning againts A.I, NORMAL, or RANK mode. battle point or essence something like that anyways i will wait for upcoming updates and also don't sell decks people may take advantage to player that can't buy or afford decks thats all...
Great game with a lot of cards that provide lore. The economy is a lot better than Hearthstone and is a lot more new player friendly.
I can't leave my phone for a sec or it will just disconnect and the game will end I was only playing against AI and the tutorial (actually) when I was diconnected from the tutorial I had to reinstall the game because it would try to update and a error message would come out. When I manage to play the game it was fun and complex I liked it. However i found a many cards OP and I really doubt I will get them free as game reward. I can't find the quit or exit button anywhere.

So far loving the game. Though maybe could fix matchmaking? I just started playing about an hour or so ago and I can only put 2 champions on my deck but keep getting matched with people who have at least 4 champions in their deck.
The game is overall enjoyable and a well thought out competitive style card game. Great right now and they are still doing updates.

Amazing, very little barrier to enter the game as a new player. Amazing animations, lore, flavor, card effects, etc. Every cars feels impactful and most decks are viable to climb with.
